Ashtanga Yoga:
The practice is an ancient system of yoga that was taught by Vamana Rishi in the Yoga Korunta. Ashtanga Yoga is a daily method of yoga involving synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures. This process produces intense internal heat and a purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The results are improved circulation, a strong flexible body and a calm mind.
Jui Jitsu:
A centered and relaxation form of martial arts. Our campers, will be guided through a series of physical exercises to help them to become more empowered, open, relaxed and centered.
The practice teaches you to leverage your opponent with minimal movement and maximum efficiency by blending with their energy and motion.
Qigong:
Qigong (Chinese for “light body skill”)
Qigong is a form of martial arts using a practiced series of techniques to strengthen the body and direct your inner energy in such a manner that the body becomes nearly weightless. Campers learn techniques to use your body strength and inner energy to generate a constant forward momentum, creating a lightness and fluidity in your movements. Qigong promotes physical strength, flexibility, and balance as well as inner stillness, and mental clarity. Become light as a feather in body and mind.
